Family Room

The family room has beautiful double story floor to ceiling windows, one western double bed, a western single, and two futon mattresses in the comfy loft. This room is great for a family or a small group of friends. It is also a very nice room for couples wanting a larger room to themselves. This room includes a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and storage shelves and independently controlled heating.

Twin Room

The twin room has two very comfortable western single beds and beautiful double story floor to ceiling windows. Our twin room is popular with couples and friends looking for a cosy place to themselves. This room includes a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and storage shelves and independently controlled heating.

Tatami Room

The tatami room is a more traditional Japanese style room with futon mattresses and plenty of storage space. Sleeping up to five guests, this room works very well for small groups of friends. This room includes a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and storage shelves.

Bunk Room

Despite, or perhaps because of its unorthodox bed’s construction, (a double bunk bed) this has become one of our most loved rooms. This room is spacious and comfortable. This room includes a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and storage shelves and independently controlled heating.

Dining Room

Captain offers a warm spacious dining room and all accommodation has breakfast included. Our menu includes freshly baked bread, jams, a variety or cereals and meusli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, rice and our famous Japanese miso soups. A variety of self serve hot drinks are available throughout the day. After breakfast the dining room doubles as another spacious area in which to relax on those rest days listening to good music.

This is a large yet cozy sitting/reading room. It is a great room to enjoy the stunning view of Mt Yotei and relax after your day on the slopes next to the fire.

In addition to the excellent home theatre system, there is a huge assortment of books, DVDs, and boardgames to suit all tastes and ages.

Amenities

Captain has three toilets with heated seats, three showers, a Western bath and a large Japanese style bath for at least two people. Japanese custom prevails where you must wash yourself thouroughly before entering the water. This bath runs from 5:00pm~9:00pm daily for you to soak your tired muscles in. There is also a large cosmetic area with hair dryers.
